Within the last two weeks I have been waiting for my Ghost Chili and Cherry Pepper [both from a commercial website] to sprout. Also, I was selected as a winner of free seeds thanks to www.pepperjoe.com. I now have some smaller scale chili pepper seeds of which I have never heard of: NuMex Sunrise and Serrano Tampiqueno. I also got Rutger Tomato seeds as well...but enough about irrelevant topics. Going back to the Ghost Chili and Cherry Peppers seeds...I needed to get them outside so the chances of them maintaining a decent heat would improve. My mistake was putting them in that flimsy mini-terrarium of mine. They ended up falling over with the gust of a single off wind. I suppose its my fault for not looking into the wind as a factor but the terrarium should have come with better parts. I think I still know which can has which seed in it still, but regardless of my confusion I will continue ot water them until they bear peppers. Besides those, I have what may be an Anaheim Chili Pepper plant near its completion of its first pod. I will have a picture up sometime soon so everyone can make their guess. Finally, I have a standard Habanero plant that is slowly recovering its transplant from the peat pot to the topsy-turvy potter out front. It was strange how some of its leaves turned clear instead of a diseased color after the transplant but...new leaves are coming in which is a mighty good sign.
What are my next targets? The earth is the limit...as well as my wallet unforutnately. Perhaps I should just be happy with what I have for now. This is AspieJolokia signing off.
