Germination for the overheated (120 degree) wet towel seeds was like 80% and the same seeds that I put directly into growing medium did almost nothing so I am running another test using dried Bhut Jolokia seeds and 915river seeds which are:

For 915rivers seeds I planted 4 seeds in the medium and put 4 of them in wet paper towel on the heating pad for 10 hours at 120 degrees and them planted them. For the Bhut I kept 10 seeds in 120 degree towel for 4;8;12;16;20;24;and 30 hours to see what the difference in germination is.
I started them on the 18th of December and will add to the blog as they germinate or not.

the Kung Pao all 4 of the heated seeds came up and one that was not heated
Aji Cereza all 4 heated seeds came up and one not heated
Cherry Bomb (gift) all 8 seeds came up--unheated a little later then heated
Baccio Di Satana all 4 of the heated seeds sprouted-none unheated
Brazilian Starfish 1 heated seed sprouted at this time
Island Delight 3 heated seeds sprouted
Cveta Hot f-2 (gift)2 heated seeds sprouted
Nepali Orange heated 1 sprout
Sabes one heated sprouted
I would say that heating the seeds worked at this time---more later
