    Red Sugar Rush poppers. A bit more awkward to prepare than Jalapeño but totally worth the effort!

      I actually thought I was growing Peach until I saw the seller's greenhouse. Red weren't what I wanted but I'd grow them again.

      The remaining half went orange. Guess it wasn't a Gator but it'd been fully formed on the plant for well over a month and there were two distinct shades of green to it.

    Tried a dried Moruga Scorpion x Jigsaw yesterday. Confused as to why you'd cross a half Moruga with a Moruga but it was the hottest pepper I've ever had.

      It's not too disimilar to harissa paste but has nuts, pomegranate and slightly different spices. At least, judging by the one from my new local turkish store. Good stuff.

    Which is simpler, dealing with import legislation or just sewing seed pouches into my clothes and booking a flight? I swear the government overcomplicates everything.

      Given that science's best guess on the reason for capsaicin evolution is that pepper seeds can't survive mammalian digestive systems, I'm going to have to veto that one.

      Have to agree with that one. I was taking heavy history and Archaeology along side of the physics. I think I liked the archaeology better.

    Got some "long pepper" for christmas. Very interesting earthy flavour with black pepper and other notes to it. Damn hot for something that's not chilli. Full review will be on my blog in the next couple months.

      Depends on the kind of cake. Chocolate can use a whole lot. Plain old white cake maybe not so much. Carrot cake can take a lot, too.
