thehotpepper.com is 5 years old today! (going by my signup date of June 26, 2004)

And this is my 5,000th post! What? I swear it just worked out this way. I saw it coming and was like... wow, it really is gonna be 5,000 at 5! Amazing.

This place is here because of the members and moderators. I can't go naming names because I will surely leave people out since there are now thousands, and hundreds of regulars. But........ THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep posting and having fun. Sometimes this place is better than the local pub.

you know, it's only 6pm here and i'm already to drunk to respond to that as you have bet me.....

I raise my glass to the old fart that is THP......5000 in 5 years. i'm almost crying and getting all emotional......It really is something special. Lets work out the amount of hours it's taken sitting on your arse doing nothing to get there shall we.......:D

Congrats...You know, if I wasn't at work I'd drink one in your honor. This is a great site that you have set up and loaded with lots of great people.
 
HEY HEY HEY! Look who finally hit a milestone! Congrats on 5,000 and 5 years. I hope you never leave owning this place b/c that would mean all of our accounts would be deleted and we would cease to exist. :(
