No one posts, everyone just browses... what do you guys want to make it more active???!

:D caught me browsin' I'm actually just lookin' for some random conversation. Nothin' specific I suppose :D This forum has some pretty spectacular features compared to other forums I'm registered with (chat, avatars, pm notice, etc) I think as more people find it, you'll notice alot more activity.

Compared to some 'Hot' discussion boards on the web right now, this one is being fantastically successful by comparison. Some ideas to inspire more talk might include:

1. More polls

2. Some "what do you like?" sorts of questions

3. A forum for pics. We're all proud of our love of hot & spicy, whether we sell, grow, collect, or just taste. Since most people are visual, give folks a chance to see stuff online.

Just my $0.02...or $0.03 CDN. :)

If you're paying .03 CDN, man, you're getting ripped off. We're only charging 20% exchange. :)

I think I stated it before, but a thread of upcoming events nationally would be great, and would let people know what's going on in their area. Not to mention links to various chili organizations, which aren't the easiest things to find if you don't know exactly what you're looking for. If you guys want, we're doing a cool little BBQ & chili show in early September, if you send me something about this site, I'll put flyers out on our table if you like. Nothing like shameless advertising, I should know.

Flyers, would be good. I'd love to be able to hand those out at shows.

Myabe a thread called "something cooler" Or better yet, where in the heck is my bumper stickers? I need 3. One for my bass case one for gutar case and one for my notebook. I dont put stickers on my drum cases as i find it low life and classeless

Baseball cards! But THP Trading cards with members and there crowns n shizz, growing accomplishments, etc. etc.  be talkin bout "DUDE! I got ajijoes rookie season!"" Well I got Scovies career mole card so nyah!"

I'm not that interesting of a person, so I don't really start threads just because. I do check to see if there is a thread that interests me. Sometimes I don't have anything that adds to the thread, so why post?

Also, I think this is a slow time for most of us.

Oven ribs!  Those would get people talkin'!

better than crockpot ribs... I'm not ashamed to finish some ribs off in the oven or straight up cook some boneless ones in there.

Eat prunes, start a movement. Or dried plums as they are called now; seems no one wanted to buy prunes, so they renamed them to the definition of prunes.

Not the high fructose corn syrup manufacturers want to rename it, wait for it, wait, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, corn syrup. Seems people don't want to eat things with high fructose corn syrup, so lets call it something else.

Canola oil, as no one wanted to buy rapeseed oil.
