Greetings from Germany

Found this very nice Forum today and now I want to introduce my self.
I am 22 Years old and live in Goeppingen , thats in Germany.

I started to est Hot stuff at the age of 0,5 Years when my parents went out to eat and my father gave me a nacho with Hot Sauce ( just for the fun ) I did not ate the nacho I just ate the Hot Sauce the whole bowl with one chip to dip it out of there.

Since that time I ate fiery food where ever I could get some, but in Germany you hardly get good fiery food. In the super market you only get one kind of hot pepper.
After there was no source to get hot peppers I decided to grow them my self.
I started in 2003 with 1 Plant.
2004 I had 13 diffrent varieties around 50 plants.
2005 I grew 35 varieties something arround 120 plants.
This year I grew over 300 varieties and had something over 2000 plants.
Next Year I want to specialize in Capsicum pubescens , planning to grow arround 700 to 1000 plants. Still collecting diffrent varieties of the Capsicum pubescens for the Season 2007.
This year I had arround 30 diffrent Capsicum pubescens varieties.

BBQ is the other hobby that I have.
Just love to eat lots of meat from the Smoker.
So I think thats about it , if someone wants to know more or see some pictures ASk.

Hope to find interesting discussions going on.

Paulaner makes my second favorite Hefe Weizen , it comes right after Franzikaner.

Spaten makes a good Beer too but my place were I buy Beer dosen't sell it.

That place sells mostly local Beer from small brewerys.

It is not German , but the Name that I use in all Hot Pepper related things on the Internet.

I had a few other names in mind but I stayed with Hombre.

The other names would by a little bit more German

If you no not like Hombre then you can also call me Siggi that is a more German it is the Shortform of Siegfried which is my second Name.
