Welcome from Texas

Just stumbled on this site looking for info on my pepper plants. I had a few plants last year and expanded to over 20 plants this year of all different varieties of peppers. I am a real rookie but have had a blast trying out different pepper sauces and pickling recipes and salsa's. This place looks like a great site to get all of the detail from expierenced people from all over the world. We had a lot of rain and then nothing but hot 100 degree weather and the plants are just now really producing great for me. Oh well, that's Texas weather and I love it. I just had a great Green Chile Cheeseburger last weekend from some of my Big Jim Peppers roasted and grilled with Garlic and onions. I look forward to sharing some of my expieriments and getting some great advice from everyone. Peppers and tournament bass fishing are my passion's and I am looking forward to being part of this great looking forum.

Hello and welcome from Australia.

You'll learn all there is to know and more about chillis here....:)

Welcome mate! There are more than a few members from Texas here and one of them has a god given ability to grow awesome amounts of chilli.

Thanks everyone for the Welcomes. I have already learned a ton of information at this site. I have been experimenting with sauces, salsa's and cooking with my peppers. Next is learning how to save my seeds for planting next year as well as adding some more varieties and taking some of my peppers like Paprika that I am growing and learning how to make spice powders out of them. Even though I have to work in the DFW Metromess (Dallas/Ft. Worth) I am lucky to live miles away from the city out in the country with plenty of space to grow my peppers. Good to see some of my close neighbors here in Texas on board. I am completely blown away by all of the people from all over the world on this site with the passion for peppers. It is an honor to get to communicate with all of you and get some much needed pointers.
