Hello Everyone

Hello, I am new to the forum. I am from California and just started doing competition BBQ. I have 3 competitions under my belt an I am now currently re-tooling and gearing up for next year. I hope I can contribute to your forum and look forward to meeting you all.

my scores have gone up each time out, so I cant complain. No trophies or awards yet, but I will get there eventually.

Wow that looks awesome!
I have always wanted to try bbq contest, but have backed away due to the fear of lookin or cookin something stupid.....for instance, my choice of ribs are "baby backs" I frickin love em and can cook em well. But I worry I'll go out there and folk will be like..."Hey look at the rookie cookin babybacks" or "check out the guy who's not using Kingsford"
I do love attending and sampling though
 
Welcome BigNugg, nice looking meat. Competition cooking sounds like a lot of fun, it must become addictive.
