What was the last spicy meal you cooked?

And how did it turn out?

I was in the mood for wings, but wasn't going to do anything fancy, just wanted something quick using what was in the house. Baked the wings in the oven with a dry rub of cayenne, Death Rain, pepper, and bih jolokia powder (from Muso2112). Took them out and coated with Cap'n's savina sauce. Pretty good for a quick meal.

FB.

Whats the andouille?

Here in north texas we have a lot of LA/NOLA transplants.

They mostly prefer and like the Zummo's brand.

Holmes Andouille is by far the more popular amongst other texans.

It was something I picked up at the farmers market here Saturday. Local farm that makes a bunch of really nice stuff. They have a mild and a spicy, the spicy has a really nice kick to it and they use there own hot peppers for it.

I hope you don't mind that I used a fork.

And picked out and ate all the andouille and shrimps.

A little rice too.

It sounds like you went to etiquette school. Old TB would have thrown the rest on the ground with no apologies and mentioned something about hookers and cats! Is this a new TB???????

What is this "new TB"?

I'm as retarded, crotchedy, opinionated and senile as I ever was.

I'm just getting older.

Sometimes I don't remember my own recent posts.

The witch doctor I go to told me I not only have arthritis and mild parkinsons but also alzheimers.

Well...

At least I don't have alzheimers.

Maybe you were hacked. Sounded like Martha Stewart for a sec.

I think ^^^^^^^^ ought to show us a kitchen.
Started perusing a few pages back and saw that even THE TB has not seen hide nor hair of such a claimed doppleganger. (If you're wondering, yes, a THP kitchen is definitely a doppleganger!)

WHERE's THE KITCHEN?????

Truth be told, I could care less about the kitchen. I mean, that's where it's at, but the real question is

WHERE's THE FOOD?????

And no, I still can't stand BP.  ;)  I guess that means I should cook something good and post it, huh? Right after THP does!

SMH..
Good luck on the food posts.

I'm wondering how a kitchen can be a doppleganger.
However, please cook something good and as always feel free to post.
As you know... :pics:

Its got a few more minutes but...................

ShowMe Kari with chicken and potato. Heavy on the shallot "sofrito". Vadouvan curry from MySpiceSage, Aleppo powder from Ed and just a dash of my homemade sweet/mild Caribbean Red powda blend. This is one confused curry mahn. It has a kari powda more like a Jamaican and Indian fusion. Mostly middle eastern heat, fish sauce and coconut milk like a Thai curry. A couple crush green cardamom too. A garnish of culantro which is far more common in Singapore or Indonesia.

Oh mahn eet smells marvalous!!!
