So I am reading this right, there are to be only two pics? I am doing Prime Rib with two sides and the rib just went into the oven so the sides will not actually be started for an hour or so. So...I will ask for leniency by the photo polics, because I will have a couple more than two pics.

When I think of comfort foods, many dishes come to mind. We all have a list of favorites.....but a select few just seem to realign us and bring us back into focus. THAT is what comfort food means to me. And that food would be:

PORK CHOPS!!

Not only pork chops, but the two sides I've chosen (or more to the point, what MUST be chosen) to go with them! Here is a teaser photo of the rest of the ingredients that will be my meal:

Look at those thick chops......Two seasoned with my own fatalli, bhut, hab, garlic, salt seasoning blend. The other two are made with Cavendars Greek seasoning for the twins. Can you guess which ones are which?

So far so good there Paulky! I will make my pics conform to two posts. I was just hoping not to be limited to two pics! I have a masterpiece in the making. :lol: Comfort food at its finest complete with my two favorite sides. Now back to the boozing. That's the great thing about comfort food. The cooking is easy and there is lots of time for drinking! Love the Keystone Steins!!!
 
One of those pics reveals that it is actually a Keystone can inserted into a plastic stein top/handle/bottom, which equals awesome.

This is about as "comfort" food as it gets.

Mom used to make meals like this all the time for us about 35 yrs. ago...minus the chiles of course...;)
