smoking Interesting BBQ faux-pas

I found this on a Wikipedia page about faux pas:

"Never interfere with another man's braai (barbeque). Don't even make recommendations on cooking method or style unless you are a close friend. (Even relatives may not comment.)"

Apparently, South Africans are pretty hardcore about their BBQ as well as us.

Damn that's sooooo true. I have this really dumb (well, most of them are actually) roommate who came up to me while I was grilling. He says "You should flip those.". I basically said something along the lines of "I didn't ask you to give me advice, why are you talking to me?"(then I did the blink and stare). The dude got all huffy and left (it was a good thing becuase he just walked in and tried to join the party).
