hot-sauce Tony's Hot Sauce

Reviewed... how do you review a sauce that isn't commercially available anywhere but Tony's???

Let me start by introducing you to Tony. Tony owns a stall on Potter's Cay (pronounced "key"), under the Paradise Island bridge in Nassau, Bahamas.

Tony wouldn't tell me anything about it, other than the fact that he made it. But it's one of the most wonderful concotions.

He used the Bahamian Goat Pepper as the base. no surprise to me there, and as you know, my favourite pepper, and he laced it with some tomatoes, garlic and some bizarre kind of vinegar.

It was scrumptious.

I smothered Tony's cracked conch with it and was in glorious lip burning heaven for about a half an hour after completing the meal.

I know we're supposed to review hot sauces, but Tony's also got some french fries (freedom fries? ) worth tasting.

If you ever get to Nassau, find this sauce!!!

And maybe when we get back in May, I can convince Tony to let us bottle it commercially. 😉
