usHotstuff.com reliable?

Hey everybody :D

I was wondering if anyone on this forum had experience with www.ushotstuff.com. I am considering purchasing seeds from this site, but after hearing about Reimer's, I am pretty unsure about buying online.

If I shouldn't go with that site, where would you all recommend I purchase seeds? Mainly Chocolate Habs and Fatalii.

Thanks so much everyone :)

Welcome, I did just a quick browse of their site, and it SEEMS like they know what they are talking about, so that's always a plus. I've never heard of them but taht doesn't mean their are not good. I ususally go to Seeds of Change or trade with some one here.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

I checked out Seeds of Change and I didn't find any of the seeds I was looking for, but thanks a lot. I may purchase from them in the future.

I've seen that many people on the board trade seeds, but would anyone sell them? I have no seeds to trade right now haha.

Imaguitargod, do you have any naga seeds that you would sell? I saw that you grew (and ate!) them, and was wondering if you had any left.

Thanks again everyone.

They are nopt isolated from the other plants so the seeds will not breed true...sorry.

No problem, thanks anyway.

Do you know if anyone here has any that they would sell?

Also, I live in San Diego, and a few people have told me that I could start the season eary, planting in February. Does anyone know if this is true?

Feb is good, only if you are stating seeds indoors. I would say the best time to start outside is around late March.

Thanks so much, I really appreciate all the help you've been.

One last question :) What is your opinion on hydroponic growing?

Yeah, I was planning on growing all outside with exception of one hydroponic pepper inside. I think I'll give it a try, maybe on a Fatalii or Choc. Hab.

I've got the following seeds coming (I found someone who had good experience with Uncle Steve, so I bought em).

Fatalii
Chocolate Hab
Chinese 5 Color
White Bullet Hab
Devil Tongue
Peter Pepper (hehe)
Bishop's Crown

I'm very excited. Its been 5 or 6 years since I've grown peppers, it's like starting over again. Will be planting indoors in Feb (thank you San Diego climate).

If you like heat, you will love the devil tounge. It has very rapidly became my favorite pepper to grow. Huge beautiful plants and the fruit is wonderful. The Bishop Crown is a neat plant also, just give it lots of room, as mine get huge. As far as starting them, early February is when I start mine, and I live up here in the Central Valley which warms up just a tad later than you. Far an interesting pepper you could also try the Goat Weed. The heat comes quickly and then disappears very quickly also. It is also a very silver hairy plant which looks different than most.

Thanks man! I really appreciate this. I'll definately look up the goat weed.

The fatalii is the only plant I have had for two years that has for some reason just turned brown and died each summer. No warning, no nothing just went limp and died two years in a row.
