Hello all,

I am looking for the best deal on 5 oz Woozy bottles - I recently bought a large lot from Fillmore Container's in Lancaster PA. They were $3.85 per case of 12 bottles. (( http://www.fillmorecontainer.com/Jars/5-oz-Woozy-Bottle-CT.htm )) does anyone know of a better deal? They arrived well packed and were delivered quick - highly recommended, although if someone knows of a better deal, please do tell.

Had them shipped and the shipping prices were a little expensive (but expected as they are heavy) next time I'll likely just go and pick up a truck load of like 20 cases as they are only about 100 miles from me. BTW... if you are in NOVA (Washington DC area) next time I go I'd be happy to split a pick-up truck full of cases, just drop me a line (dr_info@yahoo.com)

Does anyone know a good source for 1.5 oz woozy type bottles to use a samples when making the juice?

The price of the bottles from Fillmore is only $.32 cents each and lids >07 cents - you can order as many lids as you need (not a full case). I will get some 1.5 oz bottles from www.specialtybottle.com with lids as fillmore does not sell any of the smaller bottles for sample sizes. Thanks

I don't think you got ripped. I buy from SKS usually and i'm very happy about it. You can even order 2-3 freebies per order. It's usually some odd plastic container or bottle. So far i've made very good use of those in various means.

I'll have to check out this new company though.

thanks for this link. it's going to lower some costs for me BIGtime. $12 less for my typical woozy order (roughly), plus canning jars and things that fit on them, and also 1gal glass jugs 4 fo $8 so i can make many 1gal batches of beer to experiment with.

SKS is reputable, you didn't get ripped off at all, maybe you just didn't shop around or buy the best deal quantity-wise.

I know a place in VA DIKTOE but it looks like it's a lot farther than the one you ordered from in PA.

I get mine from Richards packaging; they have a location here in my city so thankfully there's no shipping involved. The cost for 5 oz woozies is $0.45 CAD and tops are $0.06 so I have it pretty good. :)

I am 45 minutes from fillmore in Camp Hill. It is worth the 1.5 hour roundtrip for me. I usually pick up 6-10 cases at a time. I just need to shop around for shrink seals. I am glad they are close as shipping kills the cost per bottle.

Richards of Memphis if you are ordering a fair amount. For special items we produce in small batches, I gte from them as does my co packer. I get delivered for $.20 includes cap and my shipping cost

I don't think their shipping is bad at all. I just bought 5 cases of bottles, caps and 250 shrink bands. 21+ pounds and shipping was a tad over $19.
LFRB cost as shown on USPS site is $15.45, so your looking at a difference of $4. Based on the size of this box you could fit two LFRB's inside with no problem.
There is not much of an increase in shipping charges between 1 and 5 cases. You just need to buy more to offset the shipping.

Fillmore is great. I order 16 cases at a time with tops, bands and shaker tops and have had great luck with them. Shipping is reasonable. Nice people to deal with. They aren't some monster company with mediocre customer service.

Filmore is a great company my friend and biz partner gets all his containers from there, i wasnt aware they didnt have sample size bottles
i get mine through him when im making my hobby sauce's
