El Sucre Fuego ?

I have been sent some seed from a friend who obtained these (El Sucre Fuego) from localharvest.org . however after searching for information about about this pepper I have discovered that the only info I get links back to the guy whos selling them on the localharvest.org site, so before I call bullshit on this species, does anyone have any info on this or has anyone ever heard of "El Sucre Fuego" peppers? according to the website they are supposed to be hotter then 7pods etc..

thanks for any input.

yeah thats what I thought, thanks for the reply. they look like a typical hab strain maybe crossed with a congo red. just wanted to get some second opinions :)

No Fatalii I've ever seen looks like that.

It is not sexy, it is not sleek and it is not new to misname chiles.

It is bad science, bad agronomy and bad taxonomy to make up chile plant names.

reminds me of three years ago when I jumped on the bad "Diablo Negro" off ebay...advertised as the worlds hottest pepper or something like that...ordered them, grew them and was highly irate at myself for not joining this site before that...

:grumble, bitch, complain, etc:

just pretty shaped pods and were purplish black ripening red...not much heat if any at all, and the taste was like a bell pepper and not a sweet one at that...

back on subject for the El Sucre Fuego...

I think that translates to "theres a sucker born every minute"
