seeds Germinating Wild Peppers Advice

Anyone have advice on germinating wild peppers? I just received a few C. galapagoenese and C. lanceolatum seeds and don't want to waste them.

Keep them warm and moist and have a lot of patience. I sowed both on 1/16. The Galapagoense came up first at 26 days, the lance is still just a baby hook coming up when I checked earlier today. I have a thermostat on the heat mat set at 87F. I didn't presoak the seeds or do any treatments at all. The galapagoense doesn't seem to like cooler temps at all. Tried to put out in the garage where it is in the mid 50's with the rest of the baby plants and it sulked. Only plant to do that. Brought it back inside and it is starting to get its true leaves now. I am extremely excited to see these plants grow!

Good luck!
