Ellis Island - Best deal in Las Vegas

Well, as some of you know I just spent a week in Las Vegas. I had a lot of good food (though none of it hot except at TB's house) good drinks, and fun. One place stood out to me as the best deal in Las Vegas. Actually, it would be more accurate for me to say the best deal I have ever seen, ANYWHERE! Here it is, the $6.99 Steak Dinner at Ellis Island Casino and Brewery:

Not really the most attractive place as it's a couple of blocks off the strip on Koval St. but don't let that stop you!

First up the beer. They brew their own. I think they are the only brewery in Vegas. I got the stout this time (also had the hefe which was also good) and loved it twice.

Next the salad. Your regular iceburg lettuce with cherry tomatoes, onion, and a boatload of ranch dressing.

You will have to forgive me as I was so hungry that when the steak came I immediately began devouring it. You will just have to trust me that there was a 10oz top sirloin, a baked potato, and a pile of green beans there at one time. I ordered the steak MR and that is exactly how it came out. Not the best steak I have ever had, but like I said the best deal ever!

Now this is amazing. Here is the check for three steak dinners. Would have been even less except my two companions ordered soda (for reasons unbeknownst to me).

Like I said, this is by no means Emeril's or Ruth's Chris, but it is a decent steak with good sides, good beer and an amazing price. If you find yourself in Vegas check it out.

Me and my dad used to go there all the time. Sorry to bump a relatively old post, but you really need to go to the BBQ next time. It's usually about a 2 hour wait, less if you're willing to eat at an outside table in the summer LOL, but you can down some cheap beers while you are waiting. I recommend the Hef. At the BBQ you can get a full rack of (really good)ribs plus all the sides(corn, toast, beans, slaw, etc) for less than $10. Just remember to sign up for a players card first to get a further discount, and listen for your number so you don't get skipped!!
