And, Thanks a BUNCH for the dried Bhuts! (Can I use the seeds from them?)

Now, if I can keep these damned coons out of the yard I'll be ok...

Hey, glad they arrived okay. They should perk up pretty quick. Did they lose a lot of foliage?

As for the dried bhuts, I got them from Assam, India with Frontal Agritech. The seeds most likely will not germinate due to the flash processing they have and the temperature used to do so being too high. I have planted a handful before, about 60, and I had 3 pop up, and only one lived. Its kind of hit and miss. But if you arent going to incorporate the seeds into whatever you use them in, I say go for it and see what happens.

Grats on the new peppers, JSKaiser is a generous dude for sure.

Not a big fan of the trapped coon pic though. Used to do it in my youth, amazing how things can change.

Yeah, they lost a few leaves, the Bhut lost 5, but I think they'll all pull through. I just ate one of those dried pods.... First time I've tried anything superhot... :mouthonfire: :mouthonfire: :mouthonfire:

Thanks again, man!

I love the dried pods. They are delicious. Very smokey. Its completely different with a fresh one though. Ill get one over to ya. Keep me updated and let me know if any problems should arise.

Looks like an excellent packing job :) I ordered plants online and they came wrapped in newspaper in a box :( Survived and now are thriving, but...

Having had fish shipped to me, and shipped them out, from all over the world, it is the care taken in packaging that makes the difference between ok and great service

That's good to know. I was wondering why my bhut seeds weren't sprouting after three different attempts. (1.) planting two in a six pack on top of a heating pad. 2.) 10 seeds in a papertowel on top of a heating pad. 3.) the rest of my buck seeds, roughly about 100 seeds, into one pot outside in the natural light.)
Just realized today that my batch was Imported from India, too. No wonder they didn't grow!!!! Now, I don't feel like such a dumbass.

It is possible to get seed from India, but to get certified seed and all that the shipping and certification alone runs about 250. I happen to have some seed from them as well. It is really only worth it to get in bulk. Otherwise, its just super expensive. Its pretty much the same with any commercially grown crop that is flash dried. The seeds are rarely good unless harvested and dried with the intent to save the seeds for growing.

i got my bhut seeds from india from a former member here. he's american but is a philippine resident. haven't sown seeds yet. raining a lot here, no real point in germinating a chinense during rainy season. =(

he got certification and everything. he said he's gonna go back and forth from india whenever he can.
