Adding a friend

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not bitching about folks who I've come to know a little adding me as their friend. Hell I'm usually stunned and extremely flattered. I mean if you folks really knew me you would hide your daughters and bar the doors.

No what I'm talking about is the newbies who sign on and immediately start adding folks as friends. Got one just this a.m. Guy signed on today and immediately started adding friends. He's up to 20 so far. When I checked my invite it said I couldn't even reply to the guy. Not sure what that's all about.

This isn't the first time it's happened either. Been thinking about why a person would do this and the only thing I can come up with is if they're looking for seeds. When you peruse their profile and see all the friends they have well they must be a damn fine person so sure, I'll send you all the seeds you want. Bull----!

OK, done whining.
 
That doesn't happen to me because I had been gone for so long and I spend most of my time in the social forums. There is someone that has been here for months, never made a post and has at least 15 friends. At least one of their friends is no longer a member and was gone months before this person joined.

You can set it to approval or auto-approval in your settings. ;) And you can remove too.
 
I got the same request but have mine set up to accept/deny request. No problem there I just could not figure out how to remove friends with the new forum look? Any help.
 
The Facebook/Twitter generation. You know I never thought of that, thanks SYJimmy. Still a person should be a little selective as to whom they want as friends.

I changed it so everyone has it set to manual now. If you want it automatic, you have to set.
