I dont' want to be a stick in the mud, but if those giant Bhuts came from PepperJoe, they are just a standard Bhut that happen to grow to full size...a good standard size for a full grown Bhut IMO is about 3.5 - 4" long and a little less than an inch at the shoulders...

you are off to a great start....

They are year two seeds, I grew the ones from pepper joe last year and sent mudstud some of late season pods to pull seeds from. I know joe just took seeds from from larger bhuts he has grown over time but they grew great for me last year - in the height of the season had pods that were 6+ inches and the plants themselves were monsters, easily topping 5 feet tall and 5 feet wide. I've grown standard bhuts and these, in comparison, were giant. Great heat levels and nice and pimply too :) PJ has some "creative" names but in this case, at least for the ones I grew, I thought it was fitting. Is there some other true giant bhut that this is taking a name from?

don't get me to lyin'...I had never heard of it before PJ...

not putting the guy down or anything...it just is a nomenclature thing...why don't you just call the plants what they are?

those are impressive sized pods I must say though...

Man when you finally get the babies outside they are going to explode with growth. How's the construction on the outdoor raised planters going?

i have a few extra jolokias...if you want shoot me a PM and I'll ship you one. Have never shipped a plant but willing to give it a shot...

How many plants do you have that survived?
