??? Are you referring to my post??? Im confused - I saw some castor plants on line and I thought they looked pretty nice - Was curious how they would grow in New England
 
I've grown castor bean plants for over 10 years. They are one of the fastest growing plants alive and very tropical looking. I'll have to get a pic of this years monster but here's an old pic from 2006

Weird as I have 2 huge Castor plants (more like trees) and there are ground mole tunnels within a few feet of the trees...


That is very strange, I had huge mole problems, until someone gave me some castor oil trees. Now I haven't seen a mole in 3 years. I know everyone else around here plant's them where they have root crops, for that specific reason.
