White leaves: Cause for concern?

Guys,
Two of my more runty plants (a jalapeno and a jamaican red) have started getting white leaves. It's like the cholophyll is leaving them. They were well established, green leaves and have now gone v pale green/ white.

Problem?

I'm hoping to repot them tomorrow. Might help. Think it might be lack of nutrients? They've been in small to mid size pots for a while, going into large ones tomorrow.

It's hard to say without knowing more about your husbandry practices or what the leaf actually looks like. Phosphorus deficiency comes to mind, particularly since the plants may be stunted.

Here are some sites that have pictures and descriptions of nutrient deficiencies.

As much as it pains me to suggest this, you might try one of the complete liquid fertilizers, one that contains all the micro nutrients as well. It might give them the quick boost they need.

Cool, thanks Pam. I've repotted before reading that, in good soil, so will see what happens.

Photos to follow, perhaps.
