My 4yr old has recently taken it upon himself to start sampling some of my chiles, I keep some milder ones in front yard such as serrano and jals so he decided last week that he wanted to pick one and eat it, he picked a serrano.
and wanted to eat it.

My "at the time" 10 year old tried a Pri Kee Nu , Once! only to outdo his mom! once!
Neither of them have tried a pepper since!
Looks like you are ushering in the new era of chiliheads! :)
 
this was actually his 2nd time, didnt get the first one on camera, he just came in and said dad look and chomped down on it, then the other day he said he wanted another one so I got teh camera, I have some prik kee nu also, and he wants to try one, but I havent let him at those yet lol.
hes smart enough to know not to touch anything thats growing in backyard, he knows the scorps nagas etc.. are not to be messed with
