smoking Sauce Competitions

I have been searching the internet to try to find more BBQ Sauce Competitions. All I keep finding is COOKOFFS. I want SAUCE COMPETITIONS. Any one have any info on any? I entered into Kato's and did pretty darn good now I want to enter some more if for no other reason just to get my name out to the industry. I am not equipped (yet) to compete in cookoffs but I will gladly send out samples of my sauces to sauce competitions. Any one with any info to share on any competitions would be greatly appreciated.
 
Hey Dyce, I'm right there with you. Have been keeping an eye out as well. Most sauce comps. seem to want you there, whereas Kato's let us do it from afar.

I will continue to look and report back anything I find if you will as well.

Nope not wings although the Tropical Heat Hot Sauce I make really gives a new meaning to HOT WINGS...LOL... I have a growing arsenal of BBQ Sauces, Hot Sauces and Meat Rubs. Right now I up to 5 BBQ Sauces:
1. Original (Award Winning)
2. Honey
3. Hot and Spicy (Award Winning)
4. Apple
5. Bourbon

Two Hot Sauces:
1. Tropical Heat
2. Haby Hot

Four Meat Rubs:
1. Memphis
2. BBQ
3. Peppery Steak Rub
4. Cajun Spice Rub

I would like to enter more competitions to get my name out and add some more awards to them as well.
All my products are from my own recipes that either I or my dad developed. More delicious sauces and rubs to come.

I'll do the same but most I am finding seem to be cook offs rather than "sauce competitions"

Just FYI, I have a BBQ sauce by that name. I don't have it registered or anything like that but I just wanted you to be aware that I've entered it in contests and took a 3rd place scovie under that name. If you enter the scovies you might want to change the name to avoid confusion.

I was not aware of that. I will come up with a different name to avoid any conflict. My apologies...
