hot-sauce Hottest sauce for a decent price?

Hey guys, I just got into this scene and have been trying to find an EXTREMELY hot sauce for a decent price for a few weeks now. I'd like for it to be $15 or less shipped.

I've had the original Dave's, and that stuff is nasty, and I want something that makes that stuff look mild.

In my search, I recently bought some Magma by CaJohn's, which is supposed to be 500,000 - 1,000,000 Scoville units.... while Dave's is what, 50,000 or so? I tried the magma, and it is VERY mild to me, nothing bad at all.

Any sauces out there for a decent price that will make Dave's look weak?

Hey,

At the heat level you desire, you're not likely to find one that has a taste that's even remotely tolerable. Then again, that amount of heat is going to be coming due to an extract (oleoresin or the like).

If Magma is too 'mild' for you (doubtful at 1 million scoville, but it's your palate, not mine), your hotter extract sauces are pricy. You can shoot for Pyrodiablo (1.5 million scoville), Da Bomb: The Final Answer (1.5 million scoville), or even Demon Ichor (2 million scoville). None of these will be available to you for less than $15, but if you want it THAT hot...you'll have to shell out a few beans for it.

Hi bassballboy,

Well, the thing about Magma is that the creator's goal was to have a clear vinegar base, and a floating extract hide behind the upper label. Then when you turn it upside down, the oil will float to the top (bottom) like a lava lamp.

There's a good chance that when you poured some out, or used a toothpick, you didn't get any of the extract in ya. It might have just been vinegar. Maybe an eye dropper will work better for you, I don't know. Bottom line is, it's not the best sauce to ingest.

Vicious Viper is probably one of his biggest selling extract sauces because when the Food Network did a show on extracts, Vicious Viper was the hottest one the poor sucker tried. ($8)

Z...Nothing Beyond is suppose to be his hottest. It is also my favorite tasting extract (If there is such a thing). It has won many awards in the extract category. ($10)

Blair's Megadeath is about 800,000 SHU, and has some flavor also. ($10)

Unbearable

You could also try Jim Campell's "Unbearable" It's not bad tastewise and comes in a teddy bear shaped bottle.

So perhaps I should drain some of the clear stuff out?

What I did was just shake the bottle up and pour some out on a chip real quick.... it was really really mild honestly, like tabasco sauce. Dave's on the other hadn was intensely hot....

and taste doesn't matter, I aint looking for something for me to enjoy :)

Oh, so you want to torture other people. I get it, now!

The CaJohns sauces previously mentioned, Z...Nothing Beyond and Vicious Viper, might be your best bets in your price range. If you can tolerate vast quantities of those without pain & suffering, either you really need to seek out a 12-step program or spend some time eating food with Terrabyte. 8)

(Sorry, couldn't resist)

so in the magma, is the red stuff the hot part? Perhaps I should try draining a good amount of the clear?

I want something for my cousins to try since he said that nothing will touch dave's....

Dave's regular insanity?? 80,000 scovies.

Our Hurricane (Goat Pepper Mash) puts Dave's to shame, heat-wise and it tastes way better than any of those chemical extracts.

But then, you're not looking for anything to eat... Demon ichor, or Satan's blood... Yuck to both, but they are so hot the cousin will actually swear.

Sheesh, Lin and Joe thought I was trying to kill them with Fusion Fire at least Fusion Fire tastes good.
