I have my farm on the market so I am keeping at least one of everything and planting them into the100 litre drums so that I can take them with me.
I figure even if I get an offer on the place in the time it takes for settlement I should more than get a crop off my plants in the ground.
And if I really like certain plants I can dig them up and put them into blue drums.
I have about 100 of the blue drums so far and I reckon I can get a few plants into each.

I will list what is in the red pots and trays waiting for blue drums, whats newly transplanted in the ½ litre bags in bread crates and what is waiting to be transplanted out of the seedling trays as I get time.

I will also borrow a video for a visual walkthrough from some friends when they get back from Bali. How rude of them to take THEIR camera with them on holiday.

We are pretty lucky here as we get real mild winters so any seedlings that don’t get to crop this season just do so much better in the next season so I don’t mind planting right through as long as I can.

We are having perfect germination weather at the moment with days of 35C+ and nights in the mid 20s.

A number of what I am planting are part of a growout for another group so hopefully they all germinate so that the stocks can be replenished.

Here we go with what I planted the other day. In no particular order.

Seriously  OMG I wish I had the time and space to do that.

What are you going to do with all those chillis? Making sauce ?

In the first picture in the first post are those pots going to be be potted up next into the half drums?

edit: ok I just reread you said exactly that.

Make sauce, save seed, grow plants next season. Eat Chillies. Cant beat a lazy afternnoon on the verandah with a few beers, some great cheese and hot chilli.
Hopefully sooner rather than later it will be by the beach in Busso.
Its nearly Gingin mango season so all of the sauce making gear is getting dusted off, contacts being chased up, time to make some more of the famous "Oz Chilliman Widowmaker" mango sauce.

Fantastic list and photo's happening there!
Hey selling your farm, damn didn't get to come up to say hello :( . Pretty hampered these days.
Are you still making Cheese mate? Mmmmm Chilli Cheese and Beer, Mmmmm droooll.
Would love to have a look at your garden beds they sound great. Definately alot of seedlings happening there too, shame they won't make it to harvest though.
Also seen some nice varieties in your list mate, might have to see about a trade at the end of season

Happy Chilli Growing,
Micca

Good luck in the future with the Cheese making mate. We definately are lacking good Chilli Cheese makers over here!
