Datil Patch

I have tried of and on for about a month to change my Sig, but keep getting this error message:

[#10211] You may only use up to 2 lines of text in your signature.

I'm only trying to delete the old one and put in a simple 1 line. but still... Is there a problem or am I doing something wrong?
 
Seems to be working fine for me, using the steps below.

Go to your profile http://www.thehotpepper.com/user/3283-datil-patch/

Click edit profile on the right side.

Click on "change signature" on the left side.

Highlight and remove your current signature. And click save changes.
Then type in the desired signature and click save changes.

May want to contact THP if it still doesn't work.

Followed you instructions to the letter. Still get the error.
"[#10211] You may only use up to 2 lines of text in your signature."
 
Just do what the error says. Two lines max. If you have a huge monitor maybe it looks like one line but is more. Not sure.

Post what you are trying to do here with code tags around it.

This is what I was trying to change to.

<P><STRONG>Datils! Lots and Lots of Datils!</STRONG></P>

When I use the "select all" button to hightlight to cut and paste back after following the instructions to use the back button to go back and edit by pasting the data from the message is the same but the data has been changed.

removed the <P> and </P> and the text saved. Then was able to re-edit it.
 
HTML is not allowed. You have to use bbcode, which I see you figured out.
