This is a little hole in the wall right across the street from the courthouse in Olathe. A small Mexican grocery store is next door. I dropped in not knowing what to expect. Had a language barrier problem with the gal taking my order, so I figured that was a good sign. They serve tasty red and green sauces right off the bat. I still can't decide which I like better, but I think both have crack in them. They are addictive!

Finally, the owner came from the back and took my order. I got their tacos. The menu descriptions looked like authentic Mexican street fare that I saw on Bordain's show. They have 5 different varieties, including carne azada, carnitas, al pastor, cabeza and I forget the other one, but know it was not something I normally eat (tongue, maybe), so I went with what I knew: cartnitas, carne azada and al pastor. They come out on two flat corn tortillas, with a heaping load of filling topped with cilantro and onion. At $1.50 per taco, they were a bargain. They were fresh, flavorful and very delicious!

I wanted to try their other other fare, but I now suspect the tacos have crack in them too. I've been back three times since the initial visit (including the next day after my initial visit) and ordered the same thing all three times. It was that good! I just wish I got to spend more time at the courthouse so I could eat here more often. Give this place a try. It isn't much for decor, and the service isn't all that whippy, but they offer great eats at a very, very reasonable price. I think you will love it like I do.

Probably was tongue, did it say "lingua"?
