Has anyone grown Tasmanian Habs before? Being from Tasmania myself I could not help buying some seeds on the net last night. Anyone know anything about them? Heat?
 
i am growing them this year but am having a weird go of it...
got mine in a seed trade and the person i got them from made them. out of 3 plants i have 3 DIFFERENT pod shapes, plus mine is an annum.

as for info they are sold primarily from PepperJoe but Reimers also sells them (hope you know about Reimers).
IF my seeds are true (without handling mixups) then i beleive the Taz hab might be a hybrid (with an annum).

please post pics when you get them and did you buy from pepperjoe?

ps they have NOTHING to do with tasmania ;)
 
I got the seeds from a place called readytogrow.co.uk. Anyone heard of them before? I get the feeling that the Tasmanian Hab is not quite as genuine as I had thought.
 
the pepper world is weird when it comes to names but the important part is the end result. maybe the name isnt what you hoped but dont be dissapointed.... at least untill you try them:cheers:
