Muuuwahhhahahahaaa....

I made a few tweaks this evening to my Nuclear Scurvy recipe....

There's also a little hellion brewing up as I type this.

That is all.

:onfire:

Just took out a little vinegar and added lime juice...a couple of other little things. It's much more palatable now.

The other sauce is a prototype for something I'm going to do this summer if all my peppers stay alive and produce.

I have found that substituting a 50/50 lemon and lime juice mix for half the vinegar makes a much less offensive odour and flavour and still has the same acidic properties we all love!

: barfs because of too much beer consumption :

You barfed? From Beer? weak. If you're a severe lush like me you must've drank a tanker-truck load of it to cause that. I tried to finish off a 1.75 of vodka in one night a few months ago and that was the last time i technicolor yawned.

Actually, I was joking. I've never barfed from booze. The most I've done was 3/4 a large bottle of Jack Daniels in 3 hours....the next morning I was wishing I had barfed...

Ah...ok. I had thought you were a heavyweight like myself. And i agree, i had a few nights(and days) that i wished i'd have turned inside out also.

Gringos use vinegar.....Mejicanos use lime juice.

Both have the same effect, lime juice tastes better. I substitute lime juice for vinegar in many things I cook.

Lime and lard are two secrets of Mexican cooking.

I have to agree there....lime juice does make things taste better and fresher.
