Wingstop atomic wings......

A new wing place opened up by my house called wingstop. They have a flavor called atomic and it has some great heat to it. Might be the hottest hot wings I have had. Im loving them, but not a single friend of mine will eat more then one bite and they throw in the towl. Now if I could only find those habanero chips I would be set.

Omg you're just now getting Wing Stop? That place rules, I love the cajun, lemon pepper, & garlic parmesan flavors, and of course all the hot flavors. Man, not having a wingstop close by is cruel and unusual punishment, the only other place you can get fast hot wings to go is some shitty pizza place, and those wings suck.

the only real wing place we have is "buffalo wild wings bar/grill" which is really good.

I went to this other bar/grill for lunch while working (name ? I forgot) if I lived closer I'd be eating wings ALOT! & dam their prices on the wings were great 100 for ? $20 - $25 ? they werent the monster wings but still worth that price IMO just add your own hot sauce to really spice it up & you're good to go. their normal flavors were decent just not HOT.

Well we have quite a few hooters which the wings are ok at. Also a place called wingnuts opened a few years ago. It has great wings and ribs, but it is too far to drive just to get wings. This new wingstop is on my way home from work. Have you tried the atomic flavor wings yet? Im wondering what chili heads think about the heat?

I've heard of this place !
Is it worth stopping by?

Yes. :)

IMO, wingstop is one of the best chains around for wings, at least in Phoenix where I live. (contenders being "Long Wongs," "Native New Yorker," and "Buffalo Wild Wings.") This is judged on the wings, not the decorum etc which is sort of dive-y. They cook them right - bone in, deep fried naked, then doused in sauce. I havent tried all the flavors, but I personally like the "hot" and lemon pepper flavors. They have tons of flavors and I have friends that seem to really like many of them, but I am sort of a purist and mainly just get hot. The downside is their "hot" sauce is a little sweet and seems to be full of some sort of red dye - its not quite your traditional Frank's style sauce.

I am not a big fan of the atomic, the heat is ok, nothing to make you sweat but still gives a decent lip and mouth burn, but it is a bit too sweet for my tastes and has that "we just dumped chile powder into a different sauce" flavor and texture... Overall I prefer the "louisiana style" sauce of the regular hot flavor, with a little of my own smuggled in superhot powder sprinkled over the top.

there was a wing-stop walking distance from me in Norco,CA. ate there once a week. now here in SD there are a few differnt spots that i like to frequent! the Atomic is a tasty wing!
