Fuzzy pepper? *Neighboor ?*

My neighboor asked me If I knew wat kind of pepper his plant was..the only thing I could say its fuzzy..or hairy from the stems and a little...white..any answers?

Hmmm...would need a picture. If you didn't say white, I would have said Piquin or Serrano.

Fuzzy or hairy chile plants are cap pubescens which include rocoto, manzano.....

my serrano pepper plants are covered in a white fuzz (not the fruit, but the limbs and stalks of the plant).

A cap. pubescens variety certainly is a qualified guess!

Although I know of a annuum variety called Goat's Weed a.k.a. Goats Weed which would make any pubescens jealous...
I grow it this year but due to rainy, cold conditions during the past 4-5 weeks it is not doing that great at all any longer. It is grown by quite many German chiliheads as well.
