You can buy smoked Habaneros in most Mex grocery stores.See if they will add a lb of powder to their order and get it for their price,
The Mom and Pop type stores here will usually do it for me with different items-whole pigs etc.
I bring them a couple pods or some smoked goodies as a thank you.
A chunk of smoked Pork goes a long way for PR.

El Guapo is the company that makes the ones I have now.
They probably sell powder too.
Seems like I saw it for under $30.LB+s+h.
Shouldn't be hard to find.

Habanero Morita is dried Habanero and IF I remember right Habanero Modito is smoke dried habanero or visa versa.
Never heard of them called Habotle before,had to google it.
 
Can any one help me with a pound of Smoked Dried Red Savina Habanero. Please get back with me ASAP.

I've never heard "Habotle" either. Chipotle is usually jalapeños, but the word comes from the Nahuatl language (one of the indigenous Aztecan languages in Mexico) and just means "smoked chile", so it can and is used for other chiles. So making a portmanteau of habanero and chipotle doesn't make much sense to me, but I could see an American company doing that.

I've never heard morita refer to habaneros either, as far as I know morita (little blackberry, or mulberry, or other berry in Spanish depending on the speaker's origin) only refers to dried, smoked, ripe jalapeños. Morita is a particular kind of chipotle and is very dark purple/black and is made from a different, smaller variety of jalapeño that turns a red/purplish color when ripe. These are usually produced in the northern state of chihuahua, and are not usually smoked as long as the chipotles produced in the southern states, which are larger and are a tan color when smoked and dried. I don't think modito or mordita are words in Spanish (mordida is, meaning little bite), so I'm not sure about those terms.

I'm guessing smoked habaneros sold in a Mexican grocery or online by Mexican sources would most likely just be labeled as "habanero ahumado" or "chile habanero ahumado", but I'm not sure about that.

Could be marketing Hype,I don't know, but smoked ones were called one of the names above and just dried ones said the other name.
Smoked pods were dark Brown/Black,the others were tan.(Dried orange habs.?)
I'm going by Vallarta Market tomorrow so if I remember I'll pick up a pack of each and get pics to post.

Sounds good, I would be interested to see them. Neither the local Mexican tienda here nor the Mexican supermarkets Guanajuato in Indianapolis sell dried, smoked habaneros, unfortunately. Guanajuato is pretty weak for a Mexican grocery store. I wish we had a Vallarta, they're only in California right?
 
I have some Dried Butch T Trinidad Scorpion Peppers. It is hard to find them and when you do you cant get much. who much do you have ?
 
I am looking for some Trinidad Scorpion,Infinity,Smoked Dried Red Savina Habanero, Devil's Tounge Peppers. Would like to buy wholesale but if you can only help me out with a small amount that would be so cool. Please contact ASAP on this the peppers can be Fresh or Dried.
