AzaMax

Anyone out there use AzaMax (azadirachtin) to control afids and other pests? Had to try something a little more gnarly than Neem oil/soap. Ants are way better at farming afids than I am at growing chiles. Guy at a new grw store turned me on to it. It's expensive but he said, it's guaranteed! We'll see!

i saw this stuff at the hydro expo this weeeknd but at 40 something a bottle i would rather use lady bugs with my small amount of plants. but a buddy used it and he said it worked great!

I believe I read something about it a couple of years ago and also passed due to cost after finding a hardware store that sold ladybugs. The few hundred ladybugs cleaned every leaf free of aphids in the first week and the larvae and a few hundred made a home on the plants that kept them aphid free for the rest of the year.

I as expected had a mild infection in june and the same results again this year.

Not sure if you can have ladybugs delivered to HI as I recently watched a show on how Wasp are taking over and killing off the insect population, but if you can try lady bugs first and then go toward chemical warefare if you can't have them shipped.

I was wondering about Ladybugs being allowed to ship to Hawaii. I've seen them here, but not sure about shipping them in. Who should I talk to? Where do you get yours shipped from? Thanks, Dundee

What is the recommended concentration for peppers, exactly? I asked the guys at the local hydro shop, but they don't seem to have much experience growing peppers. I used 5 mL in 1 L of water, which seemed to have worked, but the seedlings appeared a bit... stressed afterwards.
