Hello from Canada!

I am knew to this site... and new to growing "Scotch Bonnets"! This summer I kept some seeds from a package of peppers we bought at the local grocery store, and planted them... which resulted in the "one" plant I have now. So far there have only been two peppers... and many flowers (I keep trying to self-pollinate). It has been grown both indoors and outdoors.

I look forward to learning as much as I can from you all! My husband and I are huge fans of spicy food... and we'd love to continue growing our own hot peppers!

GOD bless!

welcome and don't forget, you can use the search feature in this forum to better understand how to germinate things like the scotch bonnet.

:welcome: FROM BAMA!! Pepper plants are self pollinating.. No need for bugs or wind or you... unless you are trying to make a cross...

Hmm.... really? I read differently online. Then how come all my flowers just fall off?? My plant flowers really really well, but only two peppers so far...

flower drop happens... but everything I have read here says that they self pollinate... many many things will cause flower drop.
