hot-sauce 4 new sauces... from TJ Max nonetheless

So, just picked these up at TJ Max of all places. I had the feeling they might have something interesting for me to try. I will now sample them for you:

1) Spice Exchange Habanero - First off, I can smell the onion and the habs. It is thick and seedy with lots of bits of hab. It's a bit salty, but has nice flavor with the onion present and the carrot there for sweetness. Not as hot as I thought it might be considering the amount of habs in there, but overall, very nice.

2) Spice Exchange Tequila Ginger Lime - Wow, lots of mango coming through on the nose, followed by a whiff of coconut. Not as thick as the Hab sauce. VERY sweet with a little heat in the throat on the end. I like this one and would be a great marinade to share with those not seasoned to high heat.

3)Spice Exchange Chipotle - Very smoky and rich on the nose followed by a hint of garlic. Very thick and seedy like the Hab sauce. Rich, smoky, not as hot as the hab sauce, but a nice chipotle sauce the same, better than Tabasco's chipotle.

4)Melinda's Naga Jolokia - Firey red with some seeds, the nose is very sweet, almost chocolatey, I think due to the papaya, carrot and passion fruit. That's it! Naga is the first thing on the palate. Nice balance of sweet and heat. This one is the heat I've been looking for! Of the 4, definitely my favorite. If you can pick some up, do so!
