OZZ's indoor superhot grow log

I threw some seeds in some dirt, stuck them under a light, and watered them when I remembered...... and look what happened

When they get a bit bigger Ill stick them in my DR120 under a 600w digi .... if I think about it

Man those plants are off and running......they look great...what a tease.. ..:) ....I can't wait to start, but pepper seedlings started before January for me is way too soon, if I did I'd end up with too BIG too soon. So for now it's time to start the "leaf lettuce".

Happy looking chile plants!

Photobucket, imageshack, etc works for pics. Here's some good info-

What sort of wee nasties do you have growing there?

Thanks guys. What sort of "wee nasties" ??? What do you mean?? :P

I have one Butch T, one yellow fatalli, one yellow trinidad scorp, one caribbean red, one chocolate bhut, one yellow bhut, and a volcano pepper that I severely abused, I accidentally topped one side, so now its growing uneven (you can see it off to the far back and top of the first pic). Im thinking Im just going to chop it and give it to the worm bin .. I could fix it right up easily enough but with it I have ten plants total and the tent only really fits nine 3 gallon containers .... so its kind of in the way anyway.

Promix soil, 10% castings from my worm bin, then amended with 1 teaspoon per gallon blood meal, kelp meal, greensand, lime, and 2 teaspoons per gallon bone meal.

When I repot to the 3 gallon containers Ill probably up the castings to 20%.

Their under a 4 foot, 4 bulb T5 right now probably until they hit about 12". Then Ill set up the tent and the 600 digi ;)

well, I don't think 'wee nasties" is an official term, but it just seems to me, the plants grown by THP forum members seem to bear some wickedly hotter stuff than your general run of the mill nursery stock.

You have some great looking little plants. Thanks for sharing and for posting your varieties.

Sounds official enough to me

Ill keep updates going as things progress. Thanks for the compliments.

Yep, I concur. Those are beauties! Keep us posted!
You can edit the name of this thread to "OZZZ's Grow Log" (If you want)

Haha!! No kidding I definately will not top them!!

Justaguy thanks for posting my pics.

Ill turn it into a grow log officially then... thanks everyone cant wait for superhot pods.

HMMM ... well it wont let me edit the title, but I can still make it the grow log. Ill post in this thread updates as they progress. Im guessing transplant into 3 gallon buckets within the next two weeks or so.

Awesome! Changed ;)

Chilli's are such weird plants... it takes for freaking ever to get them from seed to the third node or so ... then once they hit a certain height they explode. These guys look considerably bigger today then they did yesterday even. Its nuts... I may be transplanting into the 3 gallons sooner rather then later ;)

I love these plants.... but damn do they take a LOOOOOONNNGGGG time to get started.

You got that one right. Mine were less than a foot tall for 3 months last year and hit 3ft tall in 1 hot/perfect month. I noticed you didn't mention a heating mat in the first post? That will cut the germination times in half if not more, I remember waiting a month or more for seeds to pop w.o one. with one? 7-15 days before they pop hooks.

Lookin good!!

Hey gents
I have a Scotch Bonnet farm down in Jamaica and I'm looking at moving from outdoor practices to indoor, possibly hydroponics. Not sure what agrregate to use, as rockwool aint available here. Probably I will have to use gravel from my river.
