condiment salsa

i make this salsa often for famalie partys and just stand in front of it eating it so everyone thinks that it is good and then i watch the look on their faces because it hot.

i grow all the peppers in the back yard because the good ones are hard to find in super markets.

i pretty much make up the amout of ingrediant as i go along so this might not make the amount needed for your use.

2 bigish tomatoes
4ish haboneros
12ish cyanne peppers
1 spanish onion
1-2tbsp cillantro
1.5-2tbsp of lime juice

dice the peppers, onions, tomatoes, and cillantro. mix diced ingrediant with lime juice in a bowl.
remember it's better if you wait a day before you eat it.

sorry about my spelling i know its bad hopefully you can figure out what im talking about

That would be mild in our house, but it sounds delish! I like to add red bell peppers to my salsa to add texture.

4 habs and 12 cayennes? or did you mean 1-2 cayennes?

cause 4 habs and 12 cayennes....dang, --that's hot--

(that blonde rich chick has ruined that phrase for pepperheads.)

salsa to me =
2 datils chopped with seeds
4-5 chopped romas
2-3 sprigs culantro* (culantro, not cilantro)
one medium diced vidalia
juice of one lime
dash olive oil
salt and pepper

"Pace" my arse. :D

*culantro is a SUPERB sub for cilantro if you live in a humid, hot climate like FL. culantro is your best bet. cilantro hates hot weather and bolts right away.

culantro, OTOH, thrives and has an even stronger 'green' flavor than cilantro....you just snip the little saw edges off of each leaf and then snip it into your dish.

google culantro if you've never heard of it, you'll LIKE!
