all about me:
(well, not all, but somewhat pertinent to this forum)

i love hot peppers/sauces (datil in particular)

i live in and am from florida (good for growing peppers? you bet!)

i love good beer, ale in particular - craft-brewed american, belgian, bavarian are favorite styles. (that's beer-chan in my avatar, from he's japan - possibly a drunken cousin of hello kitty)

my most recent fads: all things tiki and retro hawaiiana, floridiana

and micheladas. (a great way to jazz up a crappy beer if that's all you have access to, and hot sauce is a most desirable ingredient!)

We'd have to give top beer nods to the Belgians, both in quantity and quality...followed closely by the Germans. Canadians do brew some fine beer, tho. Molson or Labatt is better than about 98% of American beer of similar ilk.

Stuff like Molsen and Labatt's are nothing to write home about...hardly a step up from swill like Bud or Miller. But these guys

I have to agree with you. American or Canadian or other, micro-breweries have the best product by far.

LinNJoe en chuk hell, you both know the world and whatever good comes from it. Of course the best beer comes from Belgium. It's nice to say it when you are living in Belgium but it is even nicer to hear it from every tourist - they all go home missing our beer, our chocolat, our fries, our moules,...even our girls (and our men for the ladies ;-) )
