Sorry to hear about the demon birds causing you troubles...I would get a big cat (like a jaguar or mountain lion) and let him roam around the backyard. That will scare the birds away.

Also, a week without internet is unacceptable. Period.

Shane, your plants are looking great - tough to be an absentee papa, huh?
The Cali sun is working its magic on your plants judging by the awesome Poblanos!
Loved the Goat's Weed shot, too!

After watching your video, I'm not sure how I feel about eating super hot peppers.
Jamie sent me some nice ones; I'm trying to figure out how to approach them  : )
Your powders are really good - looks like a nice new batch!

I don't know which amazes me more, the finches, or the manzano root!  Seems like
always something cool going on Poway!   BTW, your poolside garden is over the top, my friend!

Have a good week, bro!
Thanks man! The garden is definitely coming along, just waiting on pods  . As far as how to approach them...with extreme caution! First couple I ate were in small pieces with dinner. Give that a shot, but there is really no hiding the heat!

chiiiit man! Great review! I love how you get all Stonewall when the heat is peaking. thats how i feel when im really getting blasted! Plants look awesome, that primo is ridiculous! Yea thats weird with the finches ive never heard of them eating leaves before.
The stonewall is just me unable to speak...which is RARE! I got a bunch that look freaking amazing, but pod set is a problem across the board. Maybe the soil is a little too rich for them??? I sat and watched as those little buggers picked the leaves apart!

Got Mail
thanks shane...will sow them after i transfer some of my peppers in my starter kit to there next home
You're welcome brother! Don't know which of them grow true??? I have some from seed, but they are all still small. The plants were a gift, so no telling if they're a hybrid. We shall see!

Me either... Finches are mostly seed eaters, but I guess they have to eat something in the spring. I've noticed that they eat Dandelion seeds, but if everybody wants a perfect lawn and digs them up it leaves the finches with nothing to eat. Somehow, I don't think your neighbors would let their Dandelions grow to help you out... Lovin' the scenery in pots around your pool man. It must be nice to have cool water next to your insanely hot plants!
Never would have imagined, I went over each plant top to bottom looking for some sort of caterpillar. The pool does act as a nice heat sinc...a little cooler by day and warmer by night.

Well here is my next addition to the pepper reviews...Brain Strain. Try to ignore the daughter's boyfriends dad, he means well but don't think he fully understood what I was going through. Once again...the window toss came to mind. Here it is.

Hope you enjoyed! Pepper had me fooled again...thinking back to the first one the same thing happened. I ate half and thought "That wasn't that bad!" then immediately ate the other half and then spent the next 2 days dealing with side effects.

Thanks for looking in folks, stole the top of my own page again  ! Have a great week, I am off to the land of no bandwidth for the week!
