hydroponic Corno Torro Hydroponic Rockwool

hi, im actually growin Corno Torro and Cayenne , corno torro are in rockwool, on a hydroponic setup, one with drippers, the other on ebb & flow system. i use 5x600w hps lights (cheap lights, im thinking about changing it for hortilux eye 600w or 1000w philips) 4x600w for hydroponic, and 1x600w for my cayenne in soil. its my first time growin pepper, pH 5.8 , 700ppm. anyway...take a look ! (sorry for my bad english, its my second language) all tips is welcomed

i dont know why, but this strain (corno torro) look like it dont want to do side branch, my cayenne are smaller and already side.... anyway, it make a lot of flower on top, new picture with bigger plant, and flower comming this week end.

I see your covering the rockwool, is it recommended to cover it?

My corno rosso plants are very tall upright plants as well with no side branching until around halfway up and even then the plant is in a very narrow y shape.

The covering of the rockwool would be to stop algae growth I presume? ?

affirmative, the algae are made when the rockwool is in contact with lights, some people use a sheet of black & white to cover all the table, and they make small hole for the plant.
