Well, I figure I would start a grow log myself for this season. I have a numerous amount of ideas I want to use, but will be posting them as I go. I usually get lazy with my grows and forgot about them, but trying to turn over a new approach this year.

For starters, here are a few pictures of my Chocolate Habanero, AJI Lemon's, Red Brain Strain. They seeds were planted on November 11, 2011, and all sprouted between last week of November and the first week of December.

So hopefully I can get a least of handful of you guys to follow it so that way it will help keep me extra motivated to keep doing it.

P.S.

My spelling and grammar are typically horrible, but I blame the Fla education system in be raned in the 40's for US educations.

I got them at a hydrostore in orlando. They are made by superroots and called the air pot.

Here is a link http://www.superoots.com/air_intro.htm

So i am growing some in them, and the others in the smart pots and seeing how they do side by side.

Very interesting, Not the cheapest date but well worth it if they pump production.

Be watching to see the outcome. Thanks.

I hope you'll keep us posted when you plant out or pot up - I'm interested in these kinds of pots - and the smart pots, but would like to see some results before swapping out any of my nursery pots I've collected over the years.

Well, suppose to get down to the high 30's the next 2 nights than back up to the mid 60's at night middle of next week. So brought them in and going to leave under the grow light for the next 2-3 days.

AJI Lemon; Red Brain Strain, Chocolate Habanero, and a Plumeria left.

Hey, Josh, lookin' great down there. The air pots seem to
be working pretty well. Am a little surprised that the yellow 7 pot
handles the chilly nights so well. Bonus.

Yea, it suprised me also, in fact there a handfull of nights that made it throught and it actually suprised me, Now my final tomatoe plant got hit hard.

Ok, I am going to be transplanting a few of peppers to there final 3 gallon smart pot home. So here is one of Pepper Joe's Cayenne Blend that will be getting done later today.

Here it is sitting in the air-pot.

Here is a botton of shot of some roots that are poking out.

The main reason they need to be transplanted.

Hey the grow looks great! Is it hard to get those babies out of those pots without messing up the roots to much? looks it needs a little caressing to get em out safely? good luck with the grow and with the weather!

Actually getting them out the air-pot is very simple, you just on screw the blue knob and the black rolls out to be flat,so it takes about 20 seconds to take one out and all the soil holds together by its roots. So far i am digging them and i have 20 3-gallons on order now, they are not cheap, so i am hoping they work better than just a regular pots and buckets i have been using over the years
