Baker's Peppers 2012 GLOG

Welcome everyone and thanks for dropping by to check out how things are going here at Baker's Peppers! This GLOG is more geared for everyone to just follow us and our production this year..nothing serious, just for fun :) Remember this all started in my other thread on here...heres the link.... http://www.thehotpepper.com/topic/26029-indoor-grow-area-build-grow-pics/page__fromsearch__1 ...now i will continue the progress here as im guessing you have seen enough seed germination and grow...lol...Now we move to the meat of the operation! :) Heres a few pics of what i currently have on the ground in the nursery....this isnt all of it, just some pics i snapped today of some areas im working on lately :)

Mix of stuff..ones up close are t scorp yellow, 7 pot yellow, bhut indian carbon, choc t scorp and a few other types...far away on bench is T scorp Red Iso

There is also about 2000+ still in the grow box inside....T Scorp Butch T, Red Bhut Jolokia, Brain Strain Red, 7 Pot Yellow, and T Scorp Red Iso..will get those pics posted tomorrow or the next day :)

haha yeah thanks! I planted a ton of extra seedlings, and did a count of them the other night and realized I had about 80 more than I planned space for, but I have tons of places around the house and stuff and I will start collecting buckets too haha, there are going to be more pepper plants than shurbs or bushs around the house.. and they will still look great!

Your plants are beautiful. Keep up the amazing work.

Those purple bhuts look awesome. I've seen a few variations of those and yours is definitely the nicest I've seen when it comes to how the pods look.
Might just have to buy me some :D

DAMN!!!!!! Baker is gonna have enough peppers to supply the entire nation. I hope you have plenty of sales people taking orders as we speak. Your gonna have so many peppers it's not even funny. Congrats again on your awesome grow. When can I place my order?
 
UPDATE!!!

Well guys n gals...i have been SLAMMED busy lately at the nursery (High demand for these peppers!) and it has forced me to slack off on my GLOG. Well, i have an UPDATE finally and its quite a change from my last one. Heres what 7,500 plants looks like!!! I cant fit them all in one picture unless i rent a heli!! :) So heres multiple shots taken TODAY! This is as of right now here at Baker's Peppers LLC :) Enjoy everyone.....

First, heres the drying chambers my Best Man built for me...GREAT carpenter!! Each one like this will do 30 lbs at a time with all drawers filled...

Also, to let u guys know..most everything is into these 10 gallon pots now...the big plants...

Now, on to the peppers...This section is what we call the "Mix" section...It has 1,000 plants IN THE GROUND and this is where all of our "Mix" pepper sales are harvested from..

This section is home to over 500 T Scorp Moruga in the 3 gallon pots, and theres over 1500 T Scorp Red and BS Yellow behind it in big pots... Like above, ALL on drip feed injection fertilization! :D We have over 5,000 plants on the drip system now and adding more everyday....

In this section we have over 2,500 plants...in rows by type...from BS Red to Bhut Jolokia Red to Scorpion to....u get the point... :D ALL on the drip.....

Just so you know, honestly i have about another 2,500 more plants i didnt get to take pics of...bottom line...theres TON's of pepper plants on the property!! :)
 
Amazing operation you've got going there. The plants look great. Having ordered some live plants from you, I know you keep them in top notch shape. Nice job!
 
did you ever develop a commercial market for your peppers, these little forum auction are not going to consume your production......
 
WOW! I see you had no small operation when you got here. You must have been planning this for a long time! No one has that volume/commitment without long-term planning. It looks awesome.

Hey everyone...just wanted to post an update....I got about 440 7 Pot Primos In the grow box!! Call it an early start on 2013...lol...Anyway...we should have pods ready to ship sometime after the holidays....thanks again to my buddy Primo for supplying the seeds! We are going to have top quality 1.5 million SHU PRIMO pods all over the place!!
