actually i have a theory. If we keep borrowing money from china we will be in so much dept to them that they will probably become more advanced then us and come into our country and attack us and take over the us. India would be one of the places we need to make a strong alliance with so they can help incase china and russia does something like that. Isreal will be dealing with iran and pakistan and countries like them. South korea and japan will be dealing with north korea. libya, and syria would be dealing with our african allies, who would be there to help us? Canada and mexico and the carribean islands. With obama cutting the funding on the pentagon we and cutting the jobs of 100000 american soldiers it would be the perfect time for the taliban, china, russia, cuba, north korea, and all of them to attack us what happens if india decides they would rather stand with china then help out america there would be no one to stop those two countries that have all that power over us right now. I dont know if russia would do this or not but what would happen if they decided to take over the european countries.

America, South Korea, Europe, Isreal vs the rest of the world

It would be very simple and easy for russia, china, and india to have a huge empire over the rest of the world

the us still outspends china's military by like 5x. china india NK etc, cannot directly threaten the united states, they simply have no means to project their force like the us military does. we are more venurable to economic warfare than conventional.
what would those countries have to gain from destroying their largest market(us consumers) anyway?

power ^_^ (i know i'm wrong on a few things too) the thing is they can out spend us if they needed to so they can easily win a war like this think 3 countries with nuclear missiles vs 1 with nuclear missiles (not including isreal, iran, and north korea)

I somewhat disagree with your post, though, as I know that even though USA is by far the most advanced military power on earth, it is STILL vulnerable to conventional warfare, and even the US military and experts admit it. Plus, the WMD factor (nuclar, biological, chemical), as well as those risks presented by other methods such as the use of EMPs are far too heavy for any country, no matter how great their military. Please consider that Russia has a "use nukes immediately" policy if they ever engage in war with their American rivals, which would be far too overwhelming were it to ever come into play. Both the US and Russia would destroy each other, and it's likely that they wouldn't be the only countries totally destroyed in the event of such a conflict; you can be assured that their allies would've destroyed each other as well.

xcsports: Interesting theory, although I do think that the countries that have weak or small militaries would be the worst hit of all. It would be like Berlin and Nanking all over again. Sadly, Canada is perhaps one of the most vulnerable nations on earth due to their pathetically small military which is very understaffed because they rely so much on their southern neighbors. Canada has no chance in a war like this.

not trying to sound like a know-it all asshole, but the us and russia are the only countries with serious nuclear weapon systems, china india etc are regional powers, they devoloped missle systems for these regional conflicts...they tend to be mid ranged. as far as india/ pakistan and NK/SK are concerned they just need the ability to nuke each other... they arent concerned with us.
remember that a missle force like ours costs an absolute fortune to maintain let alone research and build. its a luxury that only an superpower can really afford. believe me, if there were an nuclear exchange, you would be worring about russian hardware raining down on us, not chinise NK indian or w/e.
keep in mind, the us'd gdp is still like 3x greater than that of china... the next closest. i dont think they are going to outspend the us in this hypothetical war.

alot of us hardware related to nuclear forces tend to be largely hardned against EMP warfare.theres alot of interesting modifications they made to bombers and such that make them very resistant. this protection largley conserves the mad concept. i think the us acually is of the position that an EMP attack would merit a nuclear retaliation,so whoever does it better do so anonamously.
i dont see any reason to worry about about any country or group of countries attacking the us outright anytime soon, its not to anyones advantage to do so anyway lol. china needs to sell us crap, and we need china to buy crap from. free markets have more potential to prevent war than any diplomatic envoy ever will.

Canada is not as venerable as you might think. Canada been a member of nato for decades. also Canada actually plays a pretty important role in the us's early warning systems too. we had/have dozens of radar installations looking out over the north pole searching for bombers etc. other than the us itself, you guys are probably the most protected by the so called nuclear umbrella.

China needs not attack us, they could dump all our debt on the open market tomorrow and devalue the dollar to the point that it would literally bankrupt the US. The US dollar would not be worth the paper it is printed on.

Monetary attacks will disarm us before any military attack.

I could'nt give two shits about global economy. We are living in a failing society. Period.

I do believe though because china is a dictatorship that harms little kids and women from there own country what would they do to another country that in dept to them. Since China is one of the most economicaly secure country they can easily ugrade short/mid range missiles to long range missiles easily. If the country gets greedy over power they can easily take over the us and other countries. The handshake between obama and the russian president was to "show" there isnt a war but there really is. We are still in the cold war but we just don't have our fingers on the big red button (also known as the nuke russia button) russia is in so much dept because of our own doing and since they are a socialist nation they most likely wont become econocally secure ever. Even if America is one of the strongest militarys in the world the effects of nukes and bio chemicals would still kill of most of our military and most of the country. If world war 3 is fought with wmd weapons then world war 4 would be fought with sticks and stones

No non terrorist nation will ever use nuclear weapons/wmd on the US, our only threat is the financial situation we have sold ourselves into. Talk about military options till you are blue in the face, it is of no real concern, and the Gov understands this.
