Texas Growers

The Geek in me - or you could say the Spock in me is very curious and I'm going to compile a list of what growers in Texas use for germination, indoor seedling potting soils, and finally soils used in their growing buckets or gardens outdoors. If you are intested please feel free to share here. I am really interested in Texas Growers but will gladly take the input from growers in similar climates.

Germination:
1. What is your germination method?
2. What medium do you use for germination?

Seedlings:
1. What soil mix do you use for your seedlings from the time you move them to say a 3.5" pot til the time they go outside?
2. How often do you water?
3. Do you use nutes in your watering of your plants and if so how often?

Final Home:
1. What soil mix do you use?
2. What is your watering schedule and when do you add nutes?

Please if you would provide names of materials used and quantities - that would be awesome. If you feel what you use is a trade secret, I understand but ask that, if possible, please summerize without giving away your trade secret. This is really meant to be a way for me and possibly others to learn what works and has been tested out. Not sure that makes sense but ...

Thanks,
Gerry
