misc Predators,Lady Bugs

I found some orange eggs on a leaf, I isolated em and waited, they hatched out some Lady Bug Nymphs. I placed em on a cluster of Red Datil babies that had some aphids, they found em and started to chowing this morning! I found another large nymph on a TS plant, I'm cheering for the Lady Bugs

I have a few runnin around, I will pic thet them on an aphid infested plant if there's enough food they seem to lay eggs. Funny how that works Huh? Man I hate the wifes puter... I meant if theres enough food on the one I place them on they seem to stay put.

Excellent!.........Mother nature at her best
It's a jungle out there and somebody has to take care of the dirty work......go you "lady bugs" go!

I love the way the larvae look. Evil, all business aphid killing eating machines! Hate to meet a six foot one in a dark alley.

I released about a thousand ladybugs around the yard in small doses starting about a week ago. Now a close inspection finds at least one on almost all my plants around the yard...the aphid population is already on the decline, and hopefully the babies start to show up soon as well, then those bastages days are freakin numbered!

Nice photos. I found that Lady Bugs where the only real help in controlling aphids for the last 3 years. I usually buy several hundred from the local Ace

Yeah when I first found out what a ladybug nymph looked like and watched it eat aphids it was kinda like this:
