Need identification and counsels

Hi everyone, it's my first time growing hot chilles and I need some advice ! First I'd like to know if my peppers (ordered from Ebay) look like the right specie. So here are the pics. I know we can't tell the exact kind of pepper from the seedlings but I want to know if they have a chance of being what they are supposed to be! Yellow square = habaneros , red square = bhut jolokia , pink= trinidad scorpion , white = trinidad 7 pots

Bunch of habaneros and Is this a C.Chinense?

And secondly I was wondering if the seedlings where big enough to transplant or I can wait a few days still. I plan on getting them in 4 inch pots soon!

Thank you all for your answers!

:welcome: Welcome to the forums!

The good news is that they all look to be C. chinense. Ebay is dodgy with seed because even with 100% feedback the seller could have given the incorrect variety and you wouldn't know until much later. They should all be nice and hot at least!

You can transplant now if you'd like. I would make sure you only leave one plant per cell growing or you'll run into some problems. They look nice and happy as well!

So you know it's almost impossible to tell the species of pepper by looking at a picture of a seedling. But you still want to know if these peppers have a chance of being the peppers you were told they are. Do you understand what you're asking? Of course they have a chance of growing true.

They're big enough to pot up too.

Thx for the help, I've transplanted them all now and here is how it looks !

And the incoming batch of Viper naga and morugas. I'm quite happy I got almost 100% germination on these ones.

I need MORE space !

Welcome Beorn! All look like Chinense to me! Which is good news. Will have to wait for pods to find out if they are what they're supposed to be...or a bunch of orange habs. Looking real healthy too! Nice job on the pot up to!
