It's my 3rd season with Chili peppers. Mostly I use them for myself but recently I've started selling hot spices for chiliheads in Poland.
Climate here isn't awsome to grow chilies but nothing is impossible. : )

Soil, Akamada, few stones, moss and voilaaa. :) After cutting roots chili was in a shock and lost half of leaves but now is ok. New small leaves are growing. 3 fruits are red now and it looks great.
 
That's really awesome the way you did the bhut. Could you walk me through the technique, provide tips or links?

First of all - pepper isn't a tree so you won't have nice stylish rind. It won't have ultra thick stem so in choosing the best are naturaly thick peppers. Good idea is to read Bonsai help books to know bonsai rules like don't putting a plant on the center of a pot. From my experience I can tell you - don't be a fucking Edward Scissorhands while cutting roots. It's an easiest way to kill your bonsaitree. Cutting 1/3 of roots is max! Oh and don't use just Akadama or other japanese soil. Like I said. Pepper isn't a tree so add normal soil to a pot.
