Fluorescent Light Color Temp for Tomatoes & Peppers

Hi All,

So i went ahead and bought a T12 2 bulb fluorescent light fixture and bought 2 5000K full spectrum bulbs. I was wondering if the 5000K will work or should i go look for 6500K temp and return the 5000K?

Thanks!

There's a few topics on here if you have a search.... But I read that 6500 were better for the plants. Or some use 1 x 5000 & 1 x 6500. Etc

I wanted to get the T5 but it is very expensive i am looking at ~$60 bucks. I got away with the T12 for $28, and i am more than certain if i get the T8 tomorrow it would be around 20 bucks. I really want the T5, just can't afford it right now

I run 2 T8 fixtures with 6500 in them, 4 lights total, setup cost me right around 55$, my plants love them, lowes has all the stuff needed for the setup
