Powder or Flakes

I'm back with more questions. I was reading about some of the hot and spicy meals you folks eat and I noticed your mentioning using Haberno powder or Haberno flakes for example. What is the difference between them and their use? Another question is where do you get these things? I am slowly working my way up the heat ladder and enjoying doing it and I continuallly try to make my food hotter without overdoing it all at once.

I do not know about anyone eles but that is why I do the powder and flakes, too heat my own dish up to where I like .(The boss does not like to much heat.I use the powder on or in burgers, staekes, chops, and any other meats,as a seasoning rub or just to heat it up. Flakes on pastas, rice, soups, and pizzas. Both in chili. I gorw all my chiles and make my own powder, flaks and sauces. Bottom line is no rules use them how you like.

Powder and flakes are the same thing, powders are just ground finer. Most of the folks their make their own. You dehydrate the peppers and grind them up once they're dried.

Is there any good websights to order these things? Here in the Vancouver (WA) area there is not a whole lot of variety for peppers, powders or anything. My growing facilities are nothing to write home about and space is at a premium. I figure I can order things for now.
